The Campus Daycare centre offers licensed care for the children of U of S students, staff and faculty. The facility has room for 44 children between 30 and 60 months (two and a half to six years old).

Eligible employees can take a pregnancy, adoption or parental leave of up to 52 weeks. This leave may be taken at your discretion before and/or after the birth or adoption of your child but is normally taken within 52 weeks of the birth or adoption of the child. The U of S offers an Eco Pass to eligible employees. The Eco Pass is a regular adult bus pass which costs 40% less than a normal adult bus pass and offers the same riding privileges. You pay for your Eco Pass by monthly payroll deduction and can pick up your pass at the Parking and Transportation Services office. Learn more.

As an employee of the U of S, you’re eligible to receive a 10% discount on all services and pet food and a 5% discount for lab fees. The Veterinary Medical Centre (VMC) offers primary clinical services such as vaccinations and regular checkups, plus it provides a range of specialized services including medical imaging, internal medicine, surgery, oncology, dentistry, ophthalmology, reproduction services, acupuncture and rehabilitation. President's Service Award
The President’s Service Award recognizes staff members whose dedication and special efforts have contributed significantly to the success of their departments and the University. Successful nominees will receive a cash award and will be recognized at the Spring or Fall Convocation.
Long Service Awards
The Long Service Awards honour and recognize staff members who have demonstrated excellence in service to the University of Saskatchewan for 25 years. By honoring such individuals, the University emphasizes the importance of service to its mission and to its governance and provides incentive for staff members to pursue activities that enhance the quality of their service.
