Upon appointment, an Employee and her supervisor shall convene a meeting to discuss the duties and expectations of the appointment and the Employee’s career objectives. Subsequent such meetings shall occur at least once per year, if requested by the Employee.
No Employee shall be required by the Employer to perform non-bargaining unit work, or be disciplined or subject to reprisals of any kind for refusing to do so.
With the consent of the Dean of the College of Graduate and Post-doctoral Studies, employees may be allowed to serve as co-supervisors of graduate students. If requested, an employee’s supervisor shall make reasonable efforts to accommodate such supervision. This does not preclude a Research Associate from being recommended for appointment as a Professional Affiliate in accordance with relevant University policy and regulations.
