The parties recognize the right of the Employer to plan, coordinate and direct its resources, assign duties and manage the affairs of the university, except as limited by the provisions of this Agreement. 


The Employer shall exercise its rights in a manner that is fair, reasonable, equitable, and in accordance with the provisions of this agreement. 


The Employer shall advise and inform employment Supervisors about the provisions of the collective agreement. The Employer shall consult with the Union, through the Union-Management Committee, as to what topics may be appropriate to emphasize to employment Supervisors.
